I am glad to say that European Championship for Ice Optimist and DN Juniors is finaly made.
Unfortunatelly there were competiters only from Poland, Latvija and Estonia.
The ice was good (80 cm black ice and on top of it 0.5-3 cm soft ice/snow)
On Friday it was really warm and there was hardly no wind. We were able to make only one race for IO.
On Saturday morning the weather was same, but in the afternoon came the wind (5 m/s) and we made 3 races for DN.
We finished with DN on Saturday afternoon, because Poland team had to leave. On Sunday morning at 9.00 the temperature was about -50C and wind 6-10 m/s.
At 11 the Championship was over and we started the Saadjdrv GP. About 13.00 we gave the start for marathon.
